The post holder will be responsible for managing a small team delivering high quality project & maintenance management services to some of SSG’s key accounts in London and South East of England. This role may require the successful applicant to work away from home at times providing support to the other SSG teams that work in other regions of the country & staying in overnight accommodation as required.

SSG’S regional office is based in Woolwich. Work is predominately at SSG Customer’s sites in London and the South East geographic region and depending on the successful applicant’s home locations this may involve periods of detached duty, including overnight accommodation.

In addition, the post holder may be required to provide support to other SSG regions as necessary and therefore have periods of detached duty in the UK and possibly overseas.

You will need a Full UK Driving Licence as you will take part in a 24/7 call out rota which could require attendance at sites at short notice, during silent hours. These sites are not necessarily easily accessible by public transport.

You will be provided with a company vehicle with the choice of a vehicle with private use which will be eligible for taxable benefit, or a van for business use which will be tax exempt. For the roster for ‘out of hours’ calls, you will receive a on call allowance (including recall to duty allowance when called out). You will also receive opportunities for overtime, detached duty visits (overnight stays) and travelling time depending on business needs.

Daily travel time payments are made if journeys meet certain criteria.
