This role could be based in either Nottingham or Bristol.

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Relationship Manager to join the DVSA. Reporting to the Head of DS&T Service and Contract Management, you will be responsible for managing relationships with the largest strategic suppliers. You will ensure commercial activities in relation to these contracts meet policy requirements, provide value for money and fulfil their performance obligations.
This role will typically suit a results-driven individual, who is experienced in forming and maintaining key working relationships with senior stakeholders.
You will be flexible in your approach to delivering results, whilst taking into account the tightly controlled budgets in place and fast-paced nature within the organisation.
Role Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
â€¢ Leading, mentoring, motivating and managing staff.
â€¢ Building and maintaining strategic relationships across the agency.
â€¢ Negotiating with internal & external stakeholders to drive out increased performance.
â€¢ Establishing mechanisms for capturing and reviewing Management Information.
â€¢ Supporting DVSA Procurement in negotiation of major commercial contracts.
