Business Architect



HM Land Registry plays an important role in the property market, underpinning property ownership worth over £4 trillion across England and Wales. Our ambition is to become the world’s leading land registry for speed, simplicity and an open approach to data. It is an exciting time for the organisation as we continue our major transformation programme to modernise the services that we provide and how we provide them. We are now looking for an experienced Business Architect to join our Transformation Directorate to help us to achieve this.

The role

As a Business Architect you will work with the Deputy Director, Design Authority in the design, development and maintenance of a Blueprint for the transformed HM Land Registry. The Blueprint will provide a consistent, coherent and complete view of HM Land Registry in the future so HM Land Registry can transform and realise benefits in an effective and efficient manner. You will ensure all transformation programmes are reviewed from a design perspective at pre-determined points in the change management process and provide design assurance to the Transformation Board.

The person

We are looking for an effective, self-motivated individual with experience of working in a large portfolio / programme environment. You are a strong communicator with proven influencing and persuasion skills along with experience of effectively managing stakeholders. In addition, you will have experience of leading on design management within a portfolio/large programme and extensive experience of design authority management or blueprint development.

Croydon - This role can be based in the fast-growing London borough of Croydon, where regeneration is transforming the town centre.
