My client is looking to recruit an Interim Learning and Development Manager for an interim fixed term contract of 9 months initially.

This is a dual role supporting the L&D agenda for the business with an immediate focus to support the graduate programme.

You will be responsible for supporting the talent management strategy for school leavers sponsored students undergraduates and graduates.

Main purpose of the role is to manage all interaction with external suppliers and professional bodies to maintain training schemes and design the grad development programme.

Key responsibilities will include:

Liaise with HR and Project Managers to define the strategy and recruit agreed numbers of work experience apprentices and graduates

Work closely with the Training team to define the Grad programme including course design feedback process and initiate continuous improvement.

Oversee the progress of graduates and trainees throughout the scheme

Supervise the Grad rotation scheme

Manage the university relationships and be the key liaison person

Drive coaching / mentoring / buddying schemes through various initiatives and sponsoring professional development forums

Ideal candidate will have a solid background in L&D with some recruitment experience. Experience of graduate programmes is essential.
