Our Client is a World class Leader within FMCG and a household brand with operations across Europe Middle East Asia and America. Representing some of the Worlds most popular brand they turnover 60 billion and employ over 200000 employees around the World. They are looking to appoint a Tax Accounting Manager within the EMEA operations based out of the companies two Thames Valley sites.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting you will take responsibility for management reporting and Tax reporting for their EMEA operations totalling £13bn in turnover. You will act as a subject matter expert for reporting on income tax complying with US GAAP & IFRS Standards. You will review monthly and quarterly tax submissions by the Business units coordinate the Tax planning functions to ensure proper reporting of tax planning initiatives acquisitions and divestitures. Provide a detailed review of forecast annual reporting and strategic business plans sign off quarterly key controls for SOX compliance partner with internal and external Auditors on Tax reviews and partner with international Tax Accounting Managers to improve reporting and apply best practice.
Successful Applicants will be Qualified Chartered Accountants ACA CA CPA ACCA with proven post qualifications experience conversant with US GAAP IFRS SFAS 109 IAS 12 (Accounting & Income Taxes) a driver of Tax processes and willing to travel within EMEA to undertake field visits across their European operations. Your experience may be gained within industry or a Top 10 firm we are looking for an ambitious individual who will be looking to progress into their next promotion within three years.
