Exciting opportunity for a passionate qualified Commercial/Project Manager (Education & Training) to join this professional established training provider who provides training in all engineering disciplines which provide the unique range of skills that are fundamental to the Military Engineer

The successful candidate will be financially astute with a solid base of experience in Commercial and/or Project Management and able to develop high level plans at board level.
You will be a good communicator and able to relate to the Board senior management and key stakeholders. Working within a team you will be capable of enlisting support and achieving positive engagement from all parties involved and collating detail into a professional format.

You will develop business planning and monitor progress towards key business objectives and to ensure actions required to achieve these objectives are carried out to planned timescales.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development planning
Third Party Income Generation management and planning
Project Management and project planning
Preparation of Board and senior management reports

KEY DUTIES AND TASKS:
To collate present co-ordinate monitor drive through and report on medium & long term company objectives.
Provide along with the Divisional Manager a planning and Project management resource for the Managing Director.
Production of Board SLT and similar reports in addition to periodic strategy and contract performance updates.
Maintaining improving and updating the definitive Company Strategic Development plan
Develop and manage the Business Continuity Plan
Assisting the Divisional Manager in maintaining the risk register and linking it to the development plan.
Arranging and attending meetings relating to development planning and other duties
Financial planning / Cost reduction planning
Contract income forecasts and flexibility monitoring
Providing a timely response to data and information requests from internal and external agencies
Contact for third party income generation and the link to the Business Development Unit
Management of external training contracts and funding opportunities
Project Management
Staff Management and development
Maintaining records and reporting to inform contract performance and
continuous improvement
Initiating new practice and processes to improve contract performance and deliver cost reduction benefits.
Developing and delivering management reporting describing the trends within the qualitative financial and performance analysis.
