Job Description
Reed Scientific are currently recruiting a Junior Chemist to work for a well respected employer in Swansea.
The position will primarily focus on analysis of routine oil samples at the laboratory.
Techniques used will include but not be limited to the following instruments:
ICP-OES
Viscometer
Karl Fischer
Manual and Automated Titrations
Microscopy
The ideal candidate will be expected to carry out other duties as may be required around the laboratory including but not limited to; cleaning preparing sampling kits to send out packaging samples for onward travel etc.
Previous experience is valuable however applicants with little experience will also be considered.
Requirements
A degree in Chemistry (or a related subject) is desirable.
As a minimum you will require an HNC/HNDin Chemistry (or a related subject)and relevant experience.
Additional desirable skills include; the ability to carry out maintenance on equipment as well as the ability to write and develop methods and SOPs.
